POE1
Responsible Use
Last updated: August 1, 2026
POE1 provides probabilistic forecasts to support better-informed decisions. These guidelines describe how to use our outputs responsibly and where they should not be relied on.
Decision support, not autopilot
POE1 outputs are decision-support. They are intended to inform human judgment, not replace it. Always combine our forecasts with your own expertise, context, and verification.
No harmful, illegal, or abusive use
Do not use POE1 to facilitate illegal activity, harm individuals or groups, manipulate markets, deceive others, or violate the rights of third parties.
High-stakes decisions
Do not rely on POE1 as the sole basis for high-stakes decisions affecting safety, health, finances, employment, legal status, or critical infrastructure. Seek qualified professional input.
Sports forecasts
Sports-domain forecasts are not betting or gambling advice. They are probabilistic estimates intended for analysis. POE1 does not endorse or facilitate wagering. You are responsible for compliance with local laws regarding gambling.
Medical, legal, and financial outputs
Outputs touching medical, legal, financial, or tax matters are general and informational only. They must be reviewed by a qualified, licensed professional before being acted on.
AI limitations and uncertainty
- Forecasts can be wrong, especially for novel, rare, or rapidly changing situations.
- Calibrated probabilities express modeled likelihood, not certainty.
- Evidence may be incomplete, outdated, or contested.
- POE1 will sometimes return “insufficient evidence” rather than a confident answer — treat that as a meaningful signal.
